A Piece of Our Nation's History

The National Monument to the Forefathers, formerly known as the Pilgrim Monument, commemorates the Mayflower Pilgrims. It honors their ideals of Liberty, Education, Law and Morality all under Faith, as later generally embraced by the United States.

The finished monument, standing 81 feet tall, was dedicated on August 1, 1889. It has stood in its present location in Plymouth, Massachushetts for more than 100 years.
